Court Calendar

Matters before the court will be open to the public and will be held in its hearing room in its office at 160 N. LaSalle, Room N506, Chicago, Illinois unless another location is designated.

Initial Status Conferences

An initial status conference will be set within 60 days of the date of the filing of the Petition.  At the initial status conference, the parties will:

  1. inform the court of the nature and scope of the case,
  2. identify settlement opportunities,
  3. set the initial discovery parameters,
  4. schedule future conferences and, when necessary, motions. The court will set discovery and pretrial order deadlines at the time of the initial status.

Motions

Motions are heard on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9:45 a.m.  Parties should refer to Section 315 of the Tribunal’s Rules when filing motions and responses to motions.  Motions will be ruled upon without a hearing unless a request is made by a party and granted by the court.

Appearances

Status conferences and hearings on motions may be conducted telephonically at the request of parties.  It will be presumed that appearance by telephone is requested and agreed to by a party unless a party requests an in-person appearance.  The Tribunal will conduct telephonic conference calls in its hearing room.
